FAQs

• Can I show up on the day without a ticket?

We can accommodate late roll-ups, but we don't encourage it. Your name tag will be inferior if you do.

• Where can I be fed and watered?

Sorry, lunch isn't included in your ticket price. But Palace's Candy Bar will be open the entire time with snacks, sandwiches, alcoholic, tea, coffee etc. Directly opposite the Chauvel is the Imperial Pub -  great for a drink. Oxford Street has many options for cafes, pubs and bars.

• What should I wear?

Smart casual seems to be the norm, but we're not enforcing anything.

• Where is the wifi?

It's a little like camping, 1999-style. We've got wifi for speakers onstage, but everyone else should plan to use a personal hotspot.

• When do I get to drink and have a chat?

The Storyology Social on Friday night, right after the last session! We'll provide the drinks -- you bring the sparkling anecdotes. If you're a morning person, hit up the Washington Post breakfast on Thursday morning.

• Can I bring a non-Storyology-attending friend to the social?

Sure, as long as you buy said friend a ticket. Tickets just for the social will be on sale soon.
